Rengoku family had kept the position of the Flame Hashira in generations. He must have held his red sword with the pride and responsibility as a member of the family.
Note: Rengoku san used the kanji of “赫 (あか)” here. You usually use “赤 (あか)” for red color. 赫 describes red color, too, and it also means “shiny burning red”. It describes his sword perfectly!

“ド派手 (はで)” is Tengen’s famous line. He finally met up with his wives in Yukaku and started attacking the demons.
Note: ド派手 describes the way something is showy or flashy and it contains negative meaning like “too much”. But Tengen uses it in a good way though.

Note: お袋 (ふくろ) →mother. Usually we say “お母 (かあ) さん” or “母 (かあ) さん”.

She said this line after she chopped up the giant demon. The way Mitsuri showed her anger was so cute.
いたずらに → pointlessly, uselessly
キュンとする → to get butterflies in stomach
“キュンとする” means that your heart goes “kyun” when you are attracted to someone or got crushed on someone. “Kyun” describes the feeling your heart is tightened.

At the final battle of the Mugenjo, numbers of demons attacked Mitsuri and Iguro all at once. To protect mitsuiri, Iguro stood in front of her with his sword in his hand.
Note: This is the exact situation of “キュンとする” Mitsuri must have felt towards Iguro.

Muichiro found Kotetsu was getting attacked by a demon on his way back to where Hantengu, the Upper Moon Demon was. He was about to ignore but changed his mind and jumped in to protect Kotetsu. The cynical line is so Muichiro.
Note: 邪魔 (じゃま) になる →to get in the way

Muichiro is an impassive person basically. However, even his coolness couldn’t stand Gyokko’s cruelty.
Note: “いい加減 (かげん) にしろ” is used when you are mad. If you want to say “that’s enough.” softly, you can say “もういいよ” or “もう十分 (じゅうぶん) だよ”.

Note: When your friend says “Thank you” to you, you can say back to them “こっちこそ ありがとう” which means “thank you, too” in a casual way. If you want to be polite, you can say “こちらこそ ありがとう” instead.
